You don’t have a slow metabolism, you have a fast cake hand

Your metabolism is a pretty fixed variable. On top of that you have your daily activity. These are things relative to you.

Regardless of your metabolism or activity levels the only way you as a human being put on weight is by consuming more calories than you expend.

Calories consumed > metabolic rate + activity = weight gain
