Get up and go

Are you struggling to get yourself to the gym? Do you find it hard to get that to get up and go?

First of all, if you don’t feel up for it you’re probably doing some form of exercise that doesn’t appeal to you.

Choose a form of exercise you enjoy, be it swimming, weight training, an exercise class. You’re more likely to stick to it and you’re going to want to increase the chances of you going to it.

Get up early and go before you give yourself a chance to talk yourself out of it.

If you set your alarm early and go first thing you eliminate the excuses that can mount up over the day.

You will also feel more energetic for the rest of your day. Get your gym gear ready the night before to eliminate any resistance to you getting up and going.

Set your alarm then get up and go. You will feel better for it!
