If you’re going to weigh yourself do it right!
Stop weighing yourself at every possible opportunity or when you see a set of scales!
After a workout at the gym, when in the pharmacy or at random times of the day.
When you do this there are so many variables that go into what you see on the scales.
Weight might be down if you’ve just sweated a load. Weight might be up if you’ve just eaten a load. Weight might be up from water retention if you’ve had a meal high in sodium or carbohydrates.
Step away from the scales!
Weigh yourself at the same time once a week! First thing in the morning after the toilet. This removes all of the variables.
Going forward you are looking for a trend with you once a week weigh in. This will tell you that what you are doing is working!
