Hook, line and sinker

I remember when I first started going to the gym a long time ago. I found a plan in men’s fitness magazine from some fitness person and I was so excited to build muscle and get ‘toned’ lol.

I still remember it now, the start of the session was really heavy weights then you would finish off the session doing really light weights for, and I quote ‘fat burning reps’ 😂.

What an idiot I was, what an idiot the guy spouting this shit was. The reason I followed his plan – because he was in good shape!

Just goes to show that that people in good shape could be absolutely clueless about how they’ve achieved their physique. It could be that he achieved his physique through happenstance or it could be that he was a charlatan selling a method to keep me from the truth!

Just to clarify there are no fat burning reps, no fat burning exercises or fat burning foods! The only way that fat loss is achieved is by expending more calories than you consume!

I wish I knew what I know now when I started I would have saved a lot of time and money. I wish I had enlisted the help of someone knowledgeable to help me, not to confuse me!
