On the way down you may find it useful to introduce a diet break week. All it involves is you going back up to maintenance level calories for a week.
This will be good for your mental state and to help re calibrate Leptin levels (the hormone that regulates your hunger).
Then the following week return to your calorie deficit target.
Think of it from a holiday from dieting. But a controlled holiday! Not the kind where you’re clubbing to the early hours, wrecking the hotel room and waking up to a stranger and a small fire in the corner of the room!
