We want to to talk to you about a question that gets asked a lot. The question being ‘can I build muscle and burn fat at the same time?’
The answer is yes! To do both at the same time you would have to be in a small calorie deficit and ensure you are doing adequate weight training.
Also you need to ensure you are consuming adequate protein to facilitate muscle growth.
It is going to take you a lot longer to build muscle in a calorie deficit than in a surplus, which is why people usually focus on either building muscle or losing fat. This isn’t to say its not a worthwhile pursuit it’s just sub optimal to focus on both. Kinda like leaving the handbrake on whilst your driving!
